Winter Harbour is located just 15 minutes by boat from some of the most spectacular fishing grounds. The Harbour is sheltered from the wild Pacific Ocean and has been a fishing destination for decades. Salmon (all five species), Halibut, Ling Cod, and many varieties of rock fish are plentiful in these waters. Venturing farther out into the Pacific Ocean might bring in a haul of tuna. Let us know what your ultimate catch would be.

The Boat
You will be boarding a 28' Scout Abaco equipped with radar, sonar, chart plotter, and all safety equipment. With cabin seating for four adults and an enclosed stand up head, you will be in for a comfortable ride as this boat handles the waves very well.
Bring clothing suitable for changeable weather, food, and water. Consider sunscreen and aids for seasickness. Lastly, do not forget a camera to capture the great memories and amazing wildlife you may encounter.
Our Professional Captain
Captain Andrew
Andrew started fishing at a fairly young age and has over 30 years of experience. He worked as a fishing guide in the beautiful Haida Gwaii area of BC with Peregrine Fishing Lodge and St John's Fishing Lodge. Now he is excited to share with you the best fishing that Vancouver Island has to offer.
*Licensed with SVOP, ROCM, MED A1, B1, B2, and Fire Fighting 1001.
Rates
*Pricing is for one day of fishing and is not per person. You decide how many days you'd like to spend on the water.
*Add an additional $400 for a tuna charter trip as a greater amount of gas is required due to the distance traveled off-shore.

You will experience 8 - 10 hours on the water with your guide. All fishing gear and gas is included. At the end of the day, your catch will be cleaned and filleted. Fish bags are provided. Bring your coolers to transport your haul.

Not Included in the Price:
- Saltwater fishing license with salmon tag (please purchase prior to arrival)
-Packaging of your catch (we do have freezers available for use if you book a cabin)
-Accommodation (book a stay in one of our cabins for $350/night)
-Foul weather gear

- Taxes (5%)

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is due upon booking. The remaining amount is due one month prior to your charter trip. Though the deposit is nonrefundable, it is transferable to an alternative date in the same fishing season (subject to availability). The transfer of dates must occur prior to May 1, or the deposit will be forfeited.
